Horseback-riding on the trails of Tahiti is a treat. The lush vegetation and the breathtaking scenery will provide you with memorable sensations.

Club Equestre de Tahiti ( 42-70-41) is in Pirae, Papeete, on the road to the Hippodrome. It's open Tuesday to Saturday from 8 am to 7 pm and Sunday from 8 to 11.30 am. The cost is 2500 CFP per hour and there are mountain trail rides.

L'Eperon de Pirae ( 42-79-87) is also in Pirae near the Hippodrome. It's open every day (except Monday) from 8 am to 7 pm and has mountain rides for 1800 CFP per hour.

Pony Club of Tahiti ( 43-70-41) is at the Hippodrome in Pirae. It's open Wednesday and Friday from 1.30 to 4.30 pm, Saturday from 8am to 5 pm and Sunday from 9am to noon. Fees are only 1000 CFP per hour.

Hotel Puunui Equestrian Center ( 57-19-20) is on the premises of the hotel and is open daily. Rates are 1800 CFP per hour.
